عقدت الهيئة العامة لجمعية اطباء الأطفال – فلسطين إجتماعها السنوي الثاني ، يومي الخميس والجمعة الموافق  26-27 كانون الثاني 2012 في فندق الإنتركونتننتال في مدينة اريحا تحت شعار "اطباء أطفال فلسطين في خدمة أطفال فلسطين في لبنان". في جلسة الافتتاح رحب عريف الجلسة الدكتور د.غالب الزغير بالحضور وتم الوقوف دقيقة صمت على أرواح الشهداء وعزف النشيد الوطني الفلسطيني
